Book online through our reservation system at midpointrec.com/book — or click "Book a Rental" anywhere on the site. You'll get an instant confirmation with your lock code and everything you need.

You can change your reservation through your customer portal (linked in your booking confirmation email), or give us a call at (352) 234-3655. To cancel — call or email us. Any cancellation within 24 hours of your start time is nonrefundable.

If the weather looks like it might ruin your fun and it's before the 24-hour window, we're happy to reschedule, give you a store credit, or issue a full refund. If it's within 24 hours and the weather looks genuinely unsafe (thunder/lightning), we'll make an exception and issue refunds. For a little rain — we'll pack some parkas with your gear 🌧

Pick up is at Triangle Vinyl in downtown Clermont — 792 W Montrose St, Clermont, FL 34711. If you rented bikes, they'll be locked to the bike racks outside the storefront. Your confirmation email has your unique lock code.

Your bike locks use the last four digits of the phone number you used when booking your reservation.

All parking in downtown Clermont is open to the public. You'll likely find it easiest to park in the lots behind Triangle Vinyl, off Minneola Ave & 7th Street.

Every rental comes with a helmet, bottle cage, bike lock, and rear rack with bungees. Extra helmets in different sizes are kept inside Triangle Vinyl — just ask.

Water rentals are available by request. Fill out the request form on our Book page and we'll reach back within one business day to confirm availability and set everything up.

There are four public launch points nearby: Clermont Boat House (1050 Victory Way) — closest and easiest; Waterfront Park (330 3rd St) — sandy beach launch, great for families; Lake Hiawatha Preserve (450 12th St) — quiet paddling, wildlife; Palatlakaha River Park (12325 Hull Rd) — better for kayaks or very confident paddleboarders, gators present.

Yes — but they'll leave you alone on a kayak or SUP in open water. They don't hang out in the middle of the lake. Avoid launching in marshy areas or in the reeds, and always use designated docks or public beach areas.

Completely natural! The color comes from the breakdown of organic material — leaves, bark, and roots from the native trees around our lakes. Lake Minneola is actually considered one of Florida's "pristine" waterways. Safe to paddle, beautiful to look at.

The Lake Minneola Shoreline or Back & Forth Through Town routes are both perfect for beginners. Both stay on paved trail, under 1.25 hours, and are easy on any fitness level. Check out our full Explore Guide for maps and details.

Absolutely — the trail is dog-friendly. Russo (our dog and unofficial mascot) personally approves. Just make sure your pup is comfortable on a leash for the trail portions.

Water, sunscreen, your phone, and a sense of adventure. We handle the helmet, lock, and gear. If you're doing a long ride, snacks are a great idea — there are also great food stops along the trail.
