1–2 HOUR BIKE RIDES
One of our favorite routes is east on the South Lake Trail — hop off at Main Ave. and follow the BLUE route to stay along the water. Lakeshore Dr. has no bike path, but is a quiet scenic road. Turn around where it ends at 561A. This route takes under 1.25 hrs, so stop in town along the way to explore.
Head west on the South Lake Trail to Hiawatha Preserve, which is at the roundabout. It features a shaded playground, disc golf course, and dog park. Loop back and go to Waterfront Park & Splash Pad on the lake's east shore. This kid-friendly out-and-back route takes 40 min nonstop and stays on the bike trail. We recommend pausing to relax, play, or stroll the downtown shops.
3+ HOUR BIKE RIDES
Go east on the South Lake Trail and take the Hancock Extension south to Clermont National — a Topgolf-style range and restaurant with the best city views. It's a perfect spot for brunch or lunch before the ride back. It's a 35–40 min ride by bike. Expect a few hills along the way.
Make it a half-day or full-day adventure by exploring both Downtown Clermont and Winter Garden. The South Lake Trail connects to the West Orange Trail, leading straight into the heart of Winter Garden. This is about 14 trail miles one way, or about 1.5 hours by bike. Expect some solid hills in just a couple of spots on the route.
We ride these trails, paddle this lake, and frequent all the best downtown establishments. Chart your course and check out our curated downtown favs list.
Our Downtown Favorites
If you're unsure, we're happy to recommend the best launch point for your group. In this phase of our business, the water gear is foldable or inflatable so it's easy to grab and go. Every rental comes with easy set up and pack up instructions — just make sure you've got room in your trunk.
1050 Victory Way, Clermont
The closest and largest launch with ample parking. Large dock, easy to use. Best for first-timers and groups.
330 3rd St, Clermont
Local beachfront on Lake Minneola. Sandy beach launch, picnic areas, and restrooms close by. Most active spot on the lake.
450 12th St, Clermont
Park in the preserve and walk to the dock. Great for exploring quieter parts of the lake with plenty of wildlife.
12325 Hull Rd, Clermont
A beautiful windy marshy river perfect for nature lovers. Wildlife abounds. Kayaks only — gators present. Do not launch in marshy areas.
There's a lot to love around here, but these are our favs…
